Two career guidance seminars were held as part of the The Hindu Future India Club seminar on New Age Careers here on Tuesday.

Organised in association with Krishna Pradeep’s 21st Century IAS, the events were held at St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda and at College of Management Studies, JNTU-H.

Principals of both the colleges, Jaimol Cross and Sindhu respectively, welcomed the students and stressed the importance of career planning and the benefits of attending such sessions.

At St. Mary’s College, Director of the IAS academy Bhavani Shankar, emphasised the importance of dedicated career preparation for students, stressing that commitment and consistency are essential for success in competitive exams.

For students preparing for competitive examinations, he advised them to strengthen their foundational knowledge by thoroughly studying and comprehending concepts covered up to Class X using NCERT books and newspapers.

He highlighted the need to improve students’ analytical abilities which play a crucial role in the selection process of all the competitive examinations. He also said that self-motivation and focus are key to success.

At JNTU-H, chairman of the IAS academy Krishna Pradeep recollected the achievements of one of his students Muzammil Khan, an IAS officer now, and said students with engineering background also crack civil services.
