ClarityX AI, a data analytics firm backed by MapmyIndia founders, has launched “Places Pulse,” a cutting-edge search analytics tool that provides insights into consumer movement trends across India. The free tool analyzes 9 GB of daily logs and over 450 million monthly records to offer granular location-based intelligence.

The platform leverages anonymized search data to help businesses, policymakers, and investors understand consumer behavior. Key findings include that 49 per cent of searches in India are for religious places, followed by hospitals and clinics at 23 per cent. The tool offers detailed insights across 12+ industries, including tourism, healthcare, and restaurants.

Notable discoveries from the tool include a 62 per cent spike in tourist searches for Goa in November and that Andaman & Nicobar and Goa lead in pub and bar searches. The platform provides state-level, district-level, and even rural versus urban area analysis through interactive geospatial heatmaps.
