The police arrested four Kerala Students Union (KSU) activists of NSS College, Ottappalam, on Tuesday for attacking another student in connection with a social media post. One of them is a college union leader. They were suspended by the college.
They attacked a second year history student on Monday in connection with an Instagram video post and comments on it. He suffered injuries in the attack.
The police said the attackers allegedly attempted to strangulate him with an electric cable and whacked him with a wooden log.
