Western Railway has launched 29 pairs of summer special trains to manage the expected increase in passenger numbers during the summer vacation period. These extra 930 services target popular routes, including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and multiple areas in Gujarat, as well as eastern and southern regions, enhancing travel options for both tourists and daily commuters.

Western Railway has announced the launch of 29 pairs of summer special trains in anticipation of the upcoming holiday season. With a total of 930 scheduled journeys, these trains are designed to accommodate the expected surge in passengers. They will supplement the regular services, providing a smooth and efficient travel experience.

Here’s an overview of the special trains: High-Demand Regions: To address the rising demand, 16 pairs of summer special trains, amounting to 376 trips, have been introduced to key destinations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Rajasthan. These areas typically experience heavy passenger traffic, and the new trains will enhance connectivity, particularly for those returning home or heading out on vacations. Special Trains for Eastern States: Western Railway has also rolled out 7 pairs of trains, offering 140 trips to eastern states like Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal. These services are especially useful for migrant workers and families traveling home during the festive season.

For travelers heading to southern states like Karnataka and Telangana, Southern Railway has introduced 2 pairs of special trains, offering a total of 106 trips. These trains provide a convenient and comfortable way to reach key cities in the region, catering to both leisure tourists and business professionals alike.

Western Railway has rolled out 16 pairs of special trains from major stations in Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Valsad. These services are aimed at enhancing connectivity across different regions of Gujarat, making it easier for people to visit family or explore the state during the summer season.

To ensure a more comfortable journey for passengers, approximately 300 additional second-class general coaches have been incorporated into these special trains. This expansion in capacity is particularly beneficial for accommodating the large influx of travelers, including migrant workers and daily commuters.

With these initiatives, Western Railway is well-prepared to cater to the growing demand from summer travelers!
