Veerangana, Veer Nari Milan Samaroh Held at Jaipur Military Station to Honour Bravehearts

JAIPUR, March 24, 2025: The Sapta Shakti Command hosted the Veerangana, Veer Nari Milan Samaroh at the Jaipur Military Station on Monday, paying tribute to the unwavering courage, sacrifice, and resilience of Veeranganas and Veer Naris. The event was graced by Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari as the chief guest, alongside Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, and Mrs. Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President of AWWA (Army Wives Welfare Association).

Rajasthan: A Land of Courage and Legacy

Rajasthan, known for its valorous legacy, is home to 11,443 Veer Naris, one of the highest in the country. The ceremony witnessed the presence of 67 Veer Naris from Jaipur, Dausa, and Alwar districts, along with veterans, serving soldiers, Veeranganas, and their families. The gathering was a solemn occasion of remembrance, unity, and gratitude.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari felicitated the Veer Naris, acknowledging their selfless contribution to nation-building. In her address, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to the soldiers and veterans for their dedication, bravery, and unmatched service to the nation. She praised Veer Naris as the true pillars of strength, not just for their families, but for society at large.

Empowerment and Welfare at the Core

Highlighting the initiatives by Sapta Shakti Command, Dy CM Kumari lauded their continued efforts in women empowerment, health, education, skill development, and overall welfare of Veer Naris and veterans. She reassured the gathering that the Rajasthan Government is committed to supporting their welfare and growth.

Lt Gen Manjinder Singh expressed gratitude to Dy CM Diya Kumari for her presence and encouragement, calling it a morale booster for all. He offered tributes to the Veer Naris, Veeranganas, and Veterans, recognizing their invaluable contributions to society and the nation.
