A.P. government relieves Vineet Brijlal to join CRPF

The State government issued an order on Monday relieving IPS officer Vineet Brijlal, who is currently serving as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Andhra Pradesh, so that he can join in his new role at the Centre, as Inspector General in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on deputation basis.

He will be on deputation for a period of five years, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Director General of Police (DGP) was asked to relieve Mr. Vineet Brijlal with instructions to report for duty at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, by making internal arrangements to the post of IGP, CID, A.P., to enable the member of service to take up his new assignment.
