T'puram: The delegation from Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) gained significant attention at the three-day 32nd Convergence India Expo, the country's largest technology and infrastructure event, in New Delhi. They won a major honour and seized several investment opportunities.
A contingent of 24 startups participated in the expo at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan from March 19 to 21. They held around 30 meetings with investors and engaged in about 100 potential business discussions. The startups also showcased their innovations and strengthened connections with investors and technology leaders present.
Convergence India Expo 2025 is organised by the Exhibitions India Group (EIG) and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the premier trade promotion enterprise of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India.
Agri-tech startup Fuselage Innovations emerged as the winner at the Startup Pitch Hub of the expo, qualifying for a fully sponsored exhibition space at the Expand North Star Dubai in Oct and G-Tex Europe in Berlin in May.
Lauding the startups for their achievements at the expo, KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said KSUM startups made the most of the prestigious platform. "They deftly leveraged the forum by networking with industry leaders, innovators and investors. The honours and potential investment avenues are proof of the robust startup ecosystem in the state. With robust digital infrastructure and a strong focus on emerging technologies like AI, IoT and AVGC-XR, Kerala has become a thriving ground for IT enterprises," he added.
At the expo, delegates from other states and abroad showed keen interest in the services and products showcased by KSUM startups and invited them for potential collaborations.
