Missing CISF personnel from VSSC found safe in Punjab

T'puram: The missing CISF personnel, Jaspreet Singh, 33, deployed at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thumba, was found in Punjab. Singh reached his mother's house in Rupnagar district, Punjab and she informed CISF unit at VSSC. Following this, CISF informed local police, who registered a complaint.
It was a week since Singh, went missing. Singh, from Anandpur in Punjab, was last seen on March 16 evening after informing his wife that he was going to a hospital. His mobile phone was switched off by 7pm that day and all attempts to contact him failed. Singh's wife, Jyoti Devi, 32, approached Thumba police the next morning. Police began a probe after registering a case under Section 57 of the Kerala Police Act for a missing man. Police had last located him near the Power House Road. The team searched for him in the entire locality but in vain.
