The Delhi Metro will surpass New York’s 399-km metro system, making it the longest metro network in a single city.  With the inauguration of a 12-km stretch, Delhi Metro will reach a record-breaking 406 km, strengthening its position as a global leader in urban transport. As part of Phase 4 expansion, major milestones include: Completion of tunneling on the Golden Line (Kishangarh to Vasant Kunj), A massive 40-km underground metro network in progress, and Improved connectivity across Delhi-NCR.
