Trainee SI disappears from Jaisalmer

Jaipur/Jaisalmer: SOG has launched a search for a trainee sub-inspector (SI) posted at the Jaisalmer Police Lines after she disappeared upon receiving summons from the probe agency for questioning earlier this week. Accused SI Priyanka Goswami is known to be the sister-in-law of Porav Kaler—one of the key accused in the 2021 Sub-Inspector recruitment exam paper leak. SOG officials said that she was supposed to show up for questioning but disappeared on Friday. According to ADG (SOG) VK Singh, Kaler revealed during interrogation that about 15 to 20 trainee SIs had access to the leaked exam paper. Among them was Monika, said to be a friend of Priyanka Goswami. Based on this connection, Priyanka was asked to report for questioning but she has since remained untraceable. The SOG, in coordination with the Jaisalmer police, has launched a search operation at multiple locations to find her. tnn
