With a devotional ideology and the collective efforts of young minds, “Shree Devdarshan Yatra Samiti, Pune” organized the “Marathi Handwriting Review” to highlight the significance of Marathi Rajbhasha Din (Marathi Language Day). As a part of this initiative, prizes were awarded to students from the All India Movement for Seva, an orphan student hostel in A/P. Pangari, Rajgurunagar, who participated in the event.

On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Samiti has organized a special premier show of the film “Chhava” in a theatre, which portrays the life and struggles of Hindavi Swarajya Protector, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. After watching the film, students expressed their thoughts through handwritten Marathi essays. The committee evaluated these essays and awarded prizes as follows:

All participants received certificates and were given sports equipment to promote their physical well-being.

During the event, samiti members shared insights into the information technology field and their work experiences. While the orphanage receives material and financial aid from various donors, the samiti aimed to contribute intellectually by showcasing an inspiring movie, organizing a handwriting competition, and helping students envision their future. The initiative was highly praised by the institution’s director, Dnyaneshwar Burkul, Gajanan Shelke, and well-wisher Jayawant Lothe.
