Chatra woman sets self, twin minor sons ablaze

Chatra: A 22-year-old woman died by suicide along with her two twin minor sons on Friday. The deceased woman was identified as Shivi Devi of Karihara village under the Pratappur police station of Chatra district. She set herself and her sons, who were only 2.5 years old, on fire.
Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and started an investigation to probe the reasons forcing the woman to take the extreme step. Locals said Shivi was depressed for some time but nobody thought that she would take such a step. "She was not happy as her husband was away in another state," a villager said.
Police said Shivi's husband Dilip Yadav was working with a company and posted outside Jharkhand.
