Ensure modernisation of railway system, says DRM
Patna: Danapur divisional railway manager (DRM) Jayant Kumar Choudhary conducted a window trailing inspection on the Danapur-Ashokdham route near Lakhisarai and the Gaya-Patna rail route on Sunday. The inspection was conducted to assess the progress of ongoing rail development works, including station redevelopment at Bakhtiyarpur and Barh, as well as advancements in signalling systems and track maintenance, particularly at Khusropur station.
Accompanied by senior railway officials, Choudhary closely examined the ongoing infrastructure projects aimed at improving the rail network. "This inspection is part of a broader effort to ensure safety, efficiency and modernisation of the region's railway system," he said.
The inspection highlighted the importance of maintaining high track quality and upgrading signalling systems to prevent accidents and ensure smooth train operations. "Our team also reviewed the progress of ongoing rail development initiatives designed to meet the increasing passenger and freight traffic demands," Choudhary added.
While expressing satisfaction with the work completed so far, Choudhary stressed the need for timely completion of all projects to improve passenger experience and optimise railway operations. "This proactive inspection will further strengthen railway safety and improve connectivity in the region through better infrastructure and technological advancements," said a senior railway official from Danapur.
