Karnataka cabinet approves amendment to KTPP Act for 4% quota for Muslim contractors

Karnataka's cabinet has approved three significant bills including the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2025 to tax nearly 90 lakh unauthorised properties while not regularising them. Also sanctioned were a bill for 4% reservation for Muslim contractors in government tenders and one for an integrated agriculture-horticulture university in Mandya.
