AI Potential: Visually impaired student impresses with skills
Nagpur: BR Mundle English Medium School has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme for students from Class 6 to 9. The initiative kicked off with an interactive AI workshop conducted by ImmverseAI, an award-winning AI and Generative AI startup, aimed at providing young minds with foundational AI knowledge & skills.
A standout moment of the workshop was when a visually impaired student, Pramod Bisne, demonstrated his expertise in using AI tools he learned during the bootcamp. His presentation showcased the inclusive potential of AI technology in empowering students with disabilities.
"The workshop aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Make AI in India, Make AI work for India', and introduced students to advanced AI concepts such as Generative AI, AI-powered avatars, and Conversational AI. Over 500 students participated, engaging in live demonstrations & hands-on exercises," said Makarand Pandharipande, president, Blind Relief Association, which manages the school.
Speaking at the event, Ramakrishnan, CEO of ImmverseAI, said, "Our goal is to empower young minds by democratising AI knowledge. By way of this program, we are nurturing future innovators who will shape the tech landscape." he said.
