Maharashtra budget: Nearly a dozen memorials planned, most for heroes of Maratha history

The state government of Maharashtra announced the construction of several new memorials dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and other Maratha icons, including locations in Agra, Panipat, and Sangameshwar.
