Is Mamma Mia! 3 in the making? Amanda Seyfried drops goofy insights
Despite being released ten years later, its sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), received the same level of affection and adoration as the original.

Mamma Mia! (2008) was a well acclaimed movie. It appears that the third installment is also trying to earn a perfect score.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Amanda Seyfried was ultimately forced to respond to the revival of the film: “What’s cooking when it comes to Mamma Mia 3?”. Amanda responded on a hilarious note, “Oh…yeah, Mamma Mia 3 is happening. It’s going to happen in Greece, hopefully before 20…38”.
Amanda gave a dramatic shrug of her shoulders and scowled as she answered, “Nooo, I wish I was,” displaying her extreme sadness at providing such a distressing response. She was also asked if the company intends to start manufacturing by the end of the year. Amanda responded in a far more comforting manner, saying that she is just as anxiously awaiting the release of the third installment as we are. — “Summer of 2026, that’s just my schedule”, she stated.
“Everybody has to put their lives on hold. I remember I was like feeding my 6-day old baby and they were like ‘Mamma Mia, it’s happening! August. Gotta be in the UK’ and I was like (faux crying) ‘I just had a baby, I can’t do this!’. But, it’s going to be like that. It’s going to have to take a lot of people’s schedules aligning and the story being right”.
