A man was found dead at Makavalli in Holenarasipur taluk on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Ravi, 40.
According to the complaint filed by his mother Dyavamma, Ravi ended his life after his wife left him.
Ravi, a native of Honnavalli Doddakoplu in Arakalgud taluk, married Lavanya of Haradur in Arakalgud taluk around 12 years ago. The couple had a daughter.
According to Ravi’s family members, Lavanya left her husband and refused to return to his home. Upset over the development, he ended his life, the complainant said.
His mother has also named Lavanya and another person as responsible for Ravi’s death. Holenarasipur Rural Police have registered the case.
