Air Astana Group expands its fleet to 60 with a new Airbus A320neo in Almaty, strengthening its network across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The Air Astana Group has strengthened its fleet with the addition of a brand-new Airbus A320neo, bringing its total number of aircraft to 60. The latest delivery landed in Almaty, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to fleet modernization and expansion.
Air Astana, the full-service flagship carrier, now operates 35 aircraft, while its budget airline FlyArystan has expanded to 25 aircraft, supporting the growing demand for affordable travel in the region.
Both airlines have experienced rapid fleet expansion, with a focus on incorporating the latest Airbus A321LR and A320neo models. These aircraft are key to Air Astana’s strategy of expanding its network across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, offering passengers enhanced comfort, fuel efficiency, and longer-range capabilities.
FlyArystan continues to expand its low-cost services within Kazakhstan and Central Asia, while also launching longer-haul routes to destinations such as Georgia, China, and the Middle East. With a focus on affordability and connectivity, the airline is reinforcing its presence in the region’s competitive aviation market.
Looking ahead, Air Astana Group aims to grow its fleet to 80 aircraft by 2028, further solidifying its position as a leading airline group in the region. The continued investment in next-generation aircraft underscores the company’s ambition to enhance operational efficiency, expand route networks, and offer superior service to passengers worldwide.
