Turkiye's clothing-footwear CPI up 20.84% YoY, down 5.06% MoM in Feb

Turkiye’s consumer price index (CPI) rose by 2.27 per cent month on month (MoM) and 39.05 per cent year on year (YoY) in February this year, according to official data.

It rose by 7.42 per cent on the December 2024 figure and by 53.83 per cent on a twelve-months moving averages basis in the month.

Clothing and footwear was the main group that indicated the lowest YoY increase at 20.84 per cent. CPI for the group dropped by 5.06 per cent MoM in the month—the highest monthly decrease.

The country’s producer price index (PPI) increased by 25.21 per cent YoY and 2.12 per cent MoM in February 2025. It rose by 5.24 per cent on December of the previous year and 37.55 per cent on a twelve-months moving averages basis in the month.

PPI for manufactured products increased by 24.76 per cent YoY and 2.24 per cent MoM in the month.
