Lucknow: Lokbandhu Hospital has introduced a Kangaroo Mother Care Unit to improve the survival chances of premature and physically weak newborns.
The facility, set to get operational on International Women's Day, has come up with the support of Indian Oil Corporation's CSR fund in collaboration with Vigyan Foundation. Rajesh Singh, executive director, Indian Oil Corporation, stated that there is nothing greater than serving humanity. He assured that the corporation will continue supporting efforts to improve patient care through its CSR fund. The hospital's director, Dr Saroj Kumar, appreciated the corporation's assistance in providing essential resources to save the lives of newborns.
