NER to run Holi special train between Amritsar, Saharsa

Gorakhpur: To accommodate festive rush, Indian Railways will run the 04602/04601 Amritsar-Saharsa-Amritsar Holi Special for three trips. The train will depart from Amritsar on March 8, 12, and 16, 2025, and from Saharsa on March 10, 14, and 18, 2025, CPRO, Pankaj Kumar Singh informed.
The 04602 Amritsar-Saharsa Special will leave Amritsar at 8.10pm, halting at key stations like Ludhiana, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur, before reaching Saharsa at 5.00am on the third day.
The return train, 04601 Saharsa-Amritsar Special, will depart at 10.00am, stopping at Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ludhiana, and Jalandhar City, reaching Amritsar at 6.20pm the next day.
The train will have 22 coaches, including 11 sleeper, 9 general, and 2 SLR coaches, ensuring comfortable travel.
This Holi special aims to facilitate travel for passengers between Punjab, UP, and Bihar this festive season.
