Body found near railway track

T'puram: The body of an unidentified man, aged approximately 19-25, was found near the railway track at Karikkakom near Mathilmukku on Thursday morning. The body was spotted by local residents. The man was wearing a black-and-orange shirt and blue jeans.
The photos have been circulated across all police stations to cross-check with registered missing persons' cases. The body was moved to the medical college hospital mortuary, and a case has been registered under Section 194 of the BNS for unnatural death. "According to a nearby shop owner, he appears to be a migrant worker. It was unlikely a suicide case, as he drank water from the shop before carelessly crossing the tracks," said a police officer. TNN
