Governor to inaugurate Medical College Alumni Association convention

The two-day grand convention of Trivandrum Medical College Alumni Association, to be held in connection with the 74th anniversary celebration of the Government Medical College, will be inaugurated by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, here on Saturday.

Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Rajan Khobragade and Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences Mohanan Kunnumal will be present at the inaugural function.

The two-day scientific programme and academic sessions will be led by eminent scholars, including alumni and members of All Kerala Medical Graduates North America. Cultural programmes will be organised as part of the event.

A distinguished alumnus award ceremony as well as International Women’s Day celebrations have also been planned.
