Woman bouncer alleges rape, fraud

Rajkot: A 33-year-old woman who works as a bouncer at events filed a complaint of rape against one Vipul Goltara at University police station.
She alleged that Golatara, who runs a tea stall, "lured her with the promise of marriage" and engaging in repeated sexual relations. He also allegedly coerced her into having an abortion and defrauded her of Rs 2.8 lakh .
The complainant told police that she was divorced and had a child the marriage. Her ex-husband was looking after the child. In 2021, she met Goltara during an event on Kalavad Road. They developed a relationship and he told her he had issues with his wife and would marry her once he got a divorce. He frequented her residence engaged in physical relations with her. This led to her becoming pregnant twice and two abortions. Ultimately, he refused to marry her.
