21-year-old dies at hospital after Susquehanna River incident; labeled not suspicious
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — State Police released new information on the incident that occurred in the Susquehanna River Monday night.
According to State Police in York, on March 3, at around 9:44 p.m., police responded to the Norman Wood Bridge in Matric Township, Lancaster County.

Upon investigation, State Police say crews found a 21-year-old woman at the scene with injuries consistent with a fall and hypothermia. She was flown to a hospital where she shortly succumbed to her injuries, State Police say.
The victim’s vehicle was found running nearby, Troopers say.
Police do not view the incident as suspicious at this time but are investigating.
