Chandigarh: Gulab Chand Kataria is set to attend TiECON Chandigarh, making it a first for any Punjab governor.
The 10th edition of TiECON Chandigarh will be held at Hyatt Regency on March 6 and 7. Chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has also been invited to the event in the capacity of a thought leader.
TiECON 2025 will provide a platform for discussions on technology, innovation, AI, and how to share the existing domain expertise to ensure more sustainable development by alleviating poverty and fostering entrepreneurship worldwide for the greater good of all humanity.
During a curtain raiser Monday, president of TiE (Chandigarh chapter), Satish Kumar Arora said, "The event will focus on our time-proven legacy of providing top-notch funding and mentorship to budding entrepreneurs by fostering a global mindset and facilitating meaningful connections amongst attendees."
Arora said the announcement of instant funding of Rs 25 crore during TiECON Chandigarh 2025 has received an overwhelming response. More than 150 applications have been received from diverse business sectors.
For the first time, TiECON will see over 26 female speakers, he added.
