Health minister reviews construction of new medical colleges

Telangana Minister for Health C. Damodar Raja Narasimha conducted a review meeting on Monday to assess the progress of construction work for newly established medical colleges and their affiliated teaching hospitals across the State. The meeting, held at the Aarogyasri Trust office, was attended by senior officials from the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department and the health department.

During the review, the Minister directed officials to expedite the construction process, underscoring the need to complete the work as soon as possible. He stressed that the ongoing development should not cause inconvenience to medical students and patients.

To meet the deadlines efficiently, the Minister instructed that construction tasks be divided strategically, prioritising critical work that must be completed before the onset of the rainy season.
