H’bag teen girl dies under mysterious circumstances

Chatra: A 16-year-old girl, Neha Kumar, died under mysterious circumstances at Chandaul village in Barkagaon block of Hazaribag on Monday.
The victim's maternal grandfather, Tahlu Saw, filed a complaint with Barkagaon police alleging that Neha's father Chaman Saw and stepmother Sunita Devi poisoned her. Neha's mother passed away 10 years ago, leaving behind two children. After Chaman remarried, he neglected both children.
Officer in-charge of the Barkagaon police station, Nemdhari Rajak, said, "Sadar police have recorded statements of the deceased's family. The post-mortem report is awaited from the Sheikh Bhikari Medical College and Hospital in Hazaribag." TNN
