The second edition of Escalera, a women entrepreneurs and innovators’ expo organised by Kerala State Women Development Corporation Ltd., concluded here on Monday.
Nearly 70 women entrepreneurs from across the State participated in the week-long expo. The entrepreneurs earned income through sales at the expo, and received work orders.
Three winners each were declared in the competitions for established and emerging entrepreneurs. Harsha Puthussery, J. Sandhya, and Aparna P.K. were the winners in the established entrepreneurs category. G.K. Gayatri, B. Ajisha, and C. Dhanya will be given the prizes at a function organised by the KSWDC in connection with International Women’s Day.
The KSWDC has decided to organise another expo in December with the aim of promoting women entrepreneurship.
