One person died and two firefighters were injured after a fire broke out at a house in central Delhi’s Motia Khan on Sunday, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said. The fire erupted around 3 p.m. A senior DFS official said four fire tenders were dispatched to the spot after receiving the distress call. DFS chief Atul Garg said two firefighters — Ravinder Singh and Ved — sustained injuries during the operation when an LPG cylinder exploded. They were rushed to a hospital for treatment, he said.
