Gumla: Continuing with its civic action programmes, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) 32 Battalion in Gumla rolled out a data operator training programme for tribal youths of the hinterland of Maoist-hit Chainpur block in Gumla. The objective is to equip them with skills for new job opportunities and help them become self-reliant so that they can contribute to the uplift of their community residing in the tough regions of that sprawling district.
"A total of 25 youths, both boys and girls from various villages of Chainpur block, are undergoing a 25-day training in data operation," said an SSB inspector. This training will continue till March 24 in Chainpur.
The programme was inaugurated by Reena Hansda, director of the Gumla Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), at the campus of the SSB 32 Battalion, C-Company, in Chainpur block headquarters.
