Criminal held with arms in Bhojpur

Ara: Acting on a tip-off, Bhojpur police on Saturday arrested a criminal, Sonu Rai, a resident of Guljarpur village under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district, and seized arms and ammunition from his possession.
SHO incharge of Sahar police station, Bablu Kumar, said, "The police have seized a country-made pistol, a live cartridge and four empty cartridges from the arrested criminal, who also has a criminal record. Sonu was arrested on the outskirts of Guljarpur village. The police had received a tip-off that he was loitering with arms and ammunition and planning to commit a serious crime. However, the police foiled his ill-intentions in time."As
The police have discovered two cases registered against Sonu, both in Dhanbad district, Jharkhand. "Further investigation is underway to determine whether he is associated with any criminal gang," Kumar said.
