‘Maoist posters’ spark tension in Dumka dist

Dumka: Tension gripped Kauwamahal in Dumka after alleged Maoist posters were discovered outside a tailoring shop on Saturday.
The posters targeted shop owner Khurshid Alam demanding he surrender his land in Salbadra or face ‘dire consequences'. The message had mention of CPI (Maoist). The incident has sparked fear among local residents, particularly given the area's history as a former Maoist stronghold. Shikaripara police dismissed Maoist involvement, suggesting the posters were likely the work of antisocial elements.
