Lucknow: National PG College on Friday got two new labs -- mathematics and statistics — on
National Science Day.
The labs aim to equip students with essential knowledge of software like MATLAB, R, and SPSS, enabling them to analyse data across diverse fields like science, business, medicine and social sciences. The facility includes 26 computers, one interactive panel, open WIFI and a smart printer to enhance learning and research. "The integration of cutting-edge technology and statistical software in our new labs will empower students to master data analysis. This skill is essential not only in research but also in industries like finance, healthcare and business where informed decision-making based on data is the key to success," said college principal Devendra Kumar Singh.
Dignitaries like head of English department and coordinator of IQAC cell, Rakesh Jain, head of Hindi department, Ramkrishna Jaiswal, manager, Ujjwal Raman Singh, head of statistics department, Nishi Rastogi, and head of mathematics department, BP Singh were present on the occasion.
