Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi convener Gopal Rai on Friday met party candidates who contested the Assembly election ahead of the party’s structural revamp in the Capital.
“A detailed discussion was held evaluating the roles played by different individuals in the campaign. A decision was made to assign organisational responsibilities to those who contributed positively during the election,” he told reporters. Mr. Rai added that, as part of the restructuring, senior party leaders have already held meetings with State, Assembly, and frontal wing office-bearers.
AAP was reduced to 22 seats, with the BJP bagging the remaining 48 seats in the 70-member Assembly in the February 5 poll.
