8.7k properties of tax defaulters sealed

Ahmedabad: On Friday, the corporation took action to seal 8,758 properties of property tax defaulters in a single day. In the East Zone, 5,189 properties were sealed by 21 different teams on Friday alone, resulting in revenue of Rs 1.46 crore in one day.
In various areas of the South Zone, 1,864 commercial properties were sealed and final notices were issued to 2,866 residential properties. In the North West Zone, 703 properties of defaulters were sealed in different areas.
Properties of defaulters in various complexes in areas like Jagatpur, RC Technical Road, Thaltej, and Shilaj Road were also sealed.
