Authorities identified Roman and Michael Gabriel Alvarado, 21, as suspects. Alvarado was arrested by Bedford Heights police on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Task force members found Roman on Friday at a home in the 1400 block of East 221st Street, according to the release. He initially barricaded himself inside the home, along with a 2-year-old child.
“The safest option for these fugitives during an arrest is to comply with our officers’ orders and then everyone involved, including the fugitive, our officers and the public, will be safe,” U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott is quoted in the release. “Thankfully, no one was injured during this arrest and our officers were able to negotiate a safe surrender.”
