Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) Tuesday released a set of directives for the board exams that begin from March 6. Students must carry both their photo identification and admit cards for authentication to gain entry into exam halls.
Officials said students should wear only school uniform to the exam centre and can carry their Aadhaar card or school identity card where the photograph is visible. The board has also mandated video recording at sensitive exam centres and nodal centres where question papers will be kept.
RBSE secretary Kailash Sharma said, "We have given instructions that all students must reach the exam centres only in their school uniforms. Our flying squads will conduct inspections and check the security arrangements. CCTV recording and videography will be done at sensitive centres. The opening of the envelope of question papers will also be videographed. This year, 6,188 centres have been set up and 19,85,000 students will be appearing for the board exams."
Officials said once the question papers reach the district headquarters, the responsibility for their confidentiality and security will lie with the district examination operations committee. The board's central control room will be operational 24 hours from March 1 to April 5. The board warned of strict measures against centres violating rules.
