Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil Praises Students and Education Department

Pimpri, February 25, 2025: The stairway walls of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) have been transformed into vibrant canvases, showcasing artwork created by students. Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil visited the display and commended both the young artists and the education department for organizing this unique initiative.

The artwork is a result of the recently held ‘Canvas of Curiosity’ painting festival, organized in collaboration with the PCMC education department. A total of 34 municipal schools, along with five schools from the Akanksha Foundation, participated in the event. Under the guidance of 40 teachers, 290 students created imaginative paintings on various themes.

Students from grades 5 to 8 were given topics such as ‘My Village, My World,’ ‘Unity in Diversity,’ and ‘Tradition and Modernity’ to inspire their creativity. The best paintings from the event were selected and displayed on the stairway walls of the municipal building.
