Pune: After successfully making Kasba a garbage-free constituency, MLA Hemant Rasane has now pledged to make it free from illegal flex banners. Announcing his initiative at a press conference on Monday, Rasane stated that no unauthorized flex banners would be allowed in public spaces across the Kasba Assembly constituency.

Following the assembly elections, MLA Rasane undertook several initiatives to address waste management issues in Kasba. As part of the Clean, Beautiful, and Developed Kasba campaign, he and sanitation workers conducted a study tour of Indore, a city that has consistently topped the Swachh Bharat rankings for seven years. Rasane highlighted that Indore’s success is based on four key factors—planned and technology-driven governance, strong political will, public participation, and a commitment to eliminating illegal flex banners.

Rasane emphasized that ensuring a flex-free constituency is a small but significant step toward improving cleanliness, public health, environmental protection, and traffic management while enhancing the overall aesthetics of the area.
