Lucknow: Aimed at promoting historical preservation and environmental awareness, a heritage walk around the Shahnajaf Imambara and nearby monuments was organised by social groups Aadaab Arz Lucknow and Lucknow Heritage Walks on Sunday.
The walk, attended by local history enthusiasts and naturalists, was led by Atif Anzar, founder of Lucknow Heritage Walks, and Mohammad Ahsan, retired IFS officer. While Anzar highlighted the monuments' role in the 1857 War of Independence, Ahsan spoke about plant life surrounding these structures.
"Qadam Rasool remains one of Lucknow's lesser-known sites, with limited public access. Today's walk provided a rare chance to explore it," said Anzar, stressing citizens' contribution to heritage conservation.
