Bhopal, February 22 – Several cities across have recorded a drop in daytime temperatures since Friday, with a decline of up to 2°C. The has also predicted a 2-3°C drop in nighttime temperatures. On Saturday, cloudy conditions may persist over Bhopal and Gwalior, while Indore and Ujjain are expected to experience clear skies.
However, a is likely to impact North India from February 24, influencing weather patterns in Madhya Pradesh and leading to a rise in temperature.

Cyclonic Circulation & Western Disturbance Impacting Weather
According to IMD, the last few days of February will continue to witness fluctuating weather patterns. A cyclonic circulation is currently present over South Pakistan and Rajasthan, while an active Western Disturbance is affecting North India. This combination has led to cooler daytime temperatures, with several cities recording temperatures below 30°C since Friday.
Temperature declines have been observed in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Guna, Narmadapuram, Khandwa, Khargone, Raisen, Ratlam, Khajuraho, Narsinghpur, and Umaria. A slight dip in nighttime temperatures was also recorded between Thursday and Friday.
On February 24, another Western Disturbance is expected to become active over northwestern India, which could impact Madhya Pradesh, causing an increase in both daytime and nighttime temperatures.
