BJP chief Nadda takes dip, prays for public welfare
Prayagraj: BJP president and Union minister JP Nadda along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a holy dip at Sangam on Saturday.
He was accompanied by his family members as well as UP BJP president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, cabinet ministers Swatantradev Singh, Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', and Satua Baba.
Nadda prayed for public welfare by offering chunari to Maa Ganga.
Earlier, Nadda was welcomed by the CM at the Triveni complex from where they reached Sangam via boat. Here, the BJP president fed Siberian birds. After this, he first took a collective dip at Sangam with BJP leaders and then again with his wife and family members.
During this, visitors chanted slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Ganga Maiyya ki Jai.
Later, all the leaders visited the Bade Hanuman Temple and Akshayvat.
