7K fine on resident for digging up newly laid road
Kanpur: During inspection on Saturday a penalty of Rs 7,936 was imposed on Neetu Bajpai, resident of Om Purwa, after it was found that she had excavated the newly constructed road to facilitate her private sewer line.
A priest from Shakti Dham temple reported that encroachers had blocked the temple's main entrance by constructing a brick wall and established a vegetable shop. The zonal officer was instructed to clear the encroachment and dismantle the brick wall. In ward number 28, residents informed the inspecting time that approximately 70 households were receiving contaminated water supply. Jal kal executive engineer was directed to address the issue immediately and ensure clean drinking water supply.
