On February 22, 2025, at around 4:30 AM, a severe accident occurred on the Katraj Bypass Road in the lane heading from Katraj to Mantarwadi, near Devachi Uruli Phata. He was a resident of a Undri society.  

A four-wheeler driver, a 22 year old, lost control and crashed into the hillside beside the road.  

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found one person critically injured inside the vehicle. A 108 ambulance team arrived, but the attending doctor declared the victim deceased on the spot. The body was transported to Sassoon hospital via a private ambulance for further legal procedures.
