Rajkumar Kewalramani Girls' College in Jaripatka celebrated the 395th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by Prof Vijay Kewalramani, accompanied by key members of the college management, including vice-president Neelam Ahuja, general secretary Kailash Kewalramani. and principal Urmila Dabir, Rashmi Wadhwani, treasurer Richa Kewalramani and Rajendra Kaur Sapra
Addressing the gathering, Prof Vijay Kewalramani emphasised that the Maratha Empire would have been unimaginable without Shivaji Maharaj's contributions. He not only united the Marathas but also laid the foundation for a strong and self-reliant empire, leaving an everlasting impact on Indian history. His governance was marked by secular policies, innovative military strategies, and a vision for ‘swarajya'.
Neelam Ahuja highlighted Shivaji Maharaj's intellectual and cultural contributions, while Kailash Kewalramani praised his leadership as a guiding force for unity and national integrity. Urmila Dabir described him as a brilliant strategist and protector of Indian heritage.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Richa Kewalramani. The celebration served as a reminder of Shivaji Maharaj's timeless ideals, inspiring future generations to uphold his vision of justice and valour.
