Prayagraj: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, along with his family, on Friday took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam and described Maha Kumbh as the greatest expression of Indian culture and Sanatan tradition.
Further describing this spiritual experience as unforgettable, he said it is a great privilege to take a dip in the Kumbh and expressed gratitude to God for giving him this opportunity. He also praised CM Yogi Adityanath and his govt, claiming that the world's biggest religious and spiritual event was managed efficiently. "I thank CM Yogi Adityanath and the entire administration for organising such a big event," said Assam CM.
Sarma further said under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the civilisation and culture of India are emerging again in their grand form. Sarma also said Sangam is not just a confluence of rivers, but a great confluence of faith, spirituality and heritage of Sanatanis. "As long as the sun and moon exist, Sanatan Dharma will remain," he said.TNN
