Agriculture department raids a crop protection factory in Doraha area
LUDHIANA: The Agriculture Department raided a crop protection factory in the Doraha area on Thursday.
Local sources said the department received information alleging that the factory may be manufacturing fake pesticides and fertilisers. According to District Agriculture Department Officer Gurdeep Singh, Block Officer Ram Singh received the information in the morning, after which the team immediately raided the factory.
He added that the factory owner was not found on the spot.
