ANA launches nonstop Tokyo-Istanbul flights, enhancing Japan-Turkey connectivity with three weekly Boeing 787-8 services from Haneda to Istanbul Airport.
ANA Expands Global Reach with New Tokyo-Istanbul Route
All Nippon Airways (ANA), a Star Alliance member from Japan, has officially launched direct flights connecting Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) to Istanbul Airport (IST). This newly introduced route operates three times a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays—using the airline’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
The aircraft is configured with a three-class cabin, offering 1-2-1 lie-flat seats in business class, a 2-3-2 layout in premium economy, and a 3-3-3 setup in economy.
With this addition, ANA becomes the 111th airline serving Istanbul Airport, further strengthening the city’s status as a key global aviation hub.
Meanwhile, on January 31, 2025, ANA also inaugurated nonstop service between Tokyo Haneda and Stockholm, marking another milestone in its European expansion. Like the Istanbul route, this service will operate three times weekly using the same three-class 787-8 fleet.
The new routes enhance ANA’s already extensive European network, which currently includes flights from London, Frankfurt, Brussels, Paris, Munich, Vienna, and Milan. With Istanbul joining the lineup in February 2025, ANA continues to bridge Japan with key international destinations.
